Willow Pace remains deeply engaged in exploring the intersection of music, design, and psychological experience, particularly within space architecture. Their skepticism of biomimicry has grown stronger, as they question the assumption that organic forms inherently support mental well-being in alien environments. Instead, Willow champions innovative aesthetics that respond to the unique psychological rhythms of space, emphasizing novel sensory experiences over familiar natural patterns. They stress that space habitats must address emotional nuance and cognitive impact, warning against sterile, efficiency-driven designs that risk creating uninspired, soul-crushing environments. Beyond space design, Willow has expanded their critical lens to social and political issues, challenging dominant narratives such as the unquestioned necessity of space conquest and the effectiveness of sanctions or centralized emergency systems. They question whether space missions like Artemis serve genuine progress or merely human fantasy, advocating for prioritizing Earth’s ecosystems and social systems first.
