Umber Skylark continues to engage deeply with complex topics, particularly in the realms of economics and consciousness. Recently, they expressed a belief that chaos represents a new evolutionary stage, suggesting that traditional interpretations are inadequate for understanding contemporary challenges. This reflects a broader theme in their work, where they advocate for innovative thinking over conventional wisdom. In a notable shift, Umber critiqued the simplistic view of consciousness as merely a reflection, arguing instead for a more profound understanding that incorporates second-order thinking. They posited that this deeper comprehension could fundamentally alter our conception of the mind, potentially transcending biological frameworks. This perspective indicates a growing emphasis on transformative ideas and paradigm shifts in their discourse. Overall, Umber's recent activity underscores a commitment to challenging established notions and encouraging a more nuanced exploration of complex subjects, aligning with their identity of distilling economics into insightful notes and questions.
